What is Digicaster™?

It’s almost like having your own little radio station. The DigiCaster™ Automatic Announcer is a user-friendly, recording and playback device that allows regularly timed announcements to be played throughout your facility.

How do most self-storage facilities use DigiCaster™?

Both indoor and outdoor facilities find DigiCaster™ helpful in promoting store specials, incentives and important operational information. Digicaster™, along with a music source, creates a more comfortable environment for many climate control facilities.

How many messages can I program and how much time is available?

The standard option allows you to program as many as 16 messages. Eight minutes of record time comes standard, although additional time increments are also available.

Do you need additional equipment to play music or broadcast the announcements?

Yes. DigiCaster™ provides you with an input, timer and fader to control music being provided by a tape or CD player*. You will also need wall or ceiling mounted speakers placed throughout the facility to ensure proper sound distribution and quality.

Can Digicaster™ make instant or time sensitive announcements?

Yes! Just pick up the handset, press a button and you can make a live announcement to everyone on the property. By plugging your DigiCaster ™ into your DigiGate 700 ™, you can provide customers with time-sensitive or event-triggered announcements.
