DigiView™ Digital Recorder - Facts and Features: Near-comparable
cost to
traditional analog systems, but without the complexity and hassle. Built
in remote access capability lets the user check on any alarms, or allows district managers to
“site-tour” their facilities without having to drive to each one. Access can be made through a LAN or the Internet. Digital
video continues to record events, even when reviewing old recordings. The
standard unit’s hard drive capacity allows a facility to
record up to 30 days of activity.
Increased drive capacity is available for large sites, or for increased recording
time. Point
& Click software interface is very easy to use. Reviewing a recording is as simple as a few clicks of a mouse to
select the date and time to review. Little
if any maintenance costs, similar to your desktop PC. Control
outputs
allow the user to operate up to 8 devices remotely with the 16-channel unit. Open a gate, turn on a light, activate a siren or intercom
message, etc. Eight
sensor inputs
allow the video system to have greater integration with the access control and
alarm system. If an alarm is activated,
it can trigger the system to start recording certain cameras. Recording
can be programmed to be motion activated, or by time of day, or both. Multiple frames can be offloaded to a floppy disk,CDR or to a network drive. System
programming uses a VGA monitor. While
reviewing an image on the VGA screen, live video is still being shown on a
standard monitor. Program software
has multiple levels of access for tight security ( manager, user, installer, etc.
). Remote
viewing software can be installed on as many PC’s as you like. Passwords are used to limit who can have remote access.
